Owner/Supervising Attorney
Elisa is the supervising attorney at Ambrosio & Associates, Attorneys at Law with over twenty (20) years of experience. She has been a member of the NJ Bar, US District Court, District of NJ since 2000, Federal Courts, US Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, and is Court Certified Mediator. Elisa handles Criminal and Civil litigation cases in the state of New Jersey, as well as Immigration cases nationwide. She handles a variety of cases such as Family (divorce, child support, custody, restraining orders), Workers Compensation, Personal Injury, Residential/Commercial Real Estate, Immigration (Crimmigration and Fammigration), Municipal (traffic tickets), Wills and Estates, Landlord/Tenant, and so much more. Elisa has been successful in finding alternatives to litigation and settled many cases related to property damage, debt collection, landlord-tenant, personal injury, divorces, car accident, construction cases, criminal, family related issues, police brutality, and much more. Elisa is proficient in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian/Napoletano. She is passionate about serving the local community, the great USA, and overseas. She has done missionary work Nationwide and Worldwide involving women, men, young adults, teenagers, and children in countries such as Ecuador, Israel, Haiti, Brazil, Uruguay and continents such as Africa. Elisa loves to spend time with her Family, Friends, and in Church.
HUASCAR POMAVILLA
Office Manager/Senior Paralegal
Huascar is the Office Manager and also the senior immigration paralegal at Ambrosio and Associates, Attorneys at Law. Under the supervision of experienced attorneys, Huascar has been able to acquire extensive experience in the field of immigration, working on Removal Defense matters such as Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, Prosecutorial Discretion, and handles Adjustment of Status, U Visas, Waivers, Bond Hearings, and Special Immigration Juvenile. Huascar also assists with criminal and civil litigation, specifically with “Crimmigration” (criminal and immigration) and “Fammigration” (family law and immigration). Huascar speaks Spanish and his passion for immigration stems from his own immigration history. He immigrated to the United States at the age of fourteen years old and grew up in the city of Newark, NJ. Huascar attended East Side High School, and completed his Bachelor’s degree at Kean University in 2016, majoring in Education and Spanish Literature. Huascar enjoys reading and hopes to become an author one day. Huascar is an integral part of this team. His experience and quick thinking, whether it be on immigration cases, criminal, or civil matters, is invaluable.
LENO FARIAS
IT Specialist/ Clerk
Leno is the heart of the office at Ambrosio and Associates, Attorney at Law. He is responsible for the daily workings of the network and provides IT support for the paralegals and the attorneys in order for everyone to navigate with the latest legal software. Leno also assists with FOIA applications for immigration cases, filing with EOIR, USCIS, CBP, OBIM and FBI. Leno was born in Brazil and speaks Portuguese and Spanish. He is always smiling and lightens the mood for everyone. Leno loves to spend time with his family and loves the outdoors.
HASLY JIMENEZ
Law Clerk
Hasly works as a clerk for Ambrosio and Associates, Attorneys At Law, assisting with the Immigration, Civil, and Criminal Litigation matters under the supervision of paralegals and attorneys at the firm. Hasly was born in New Jersey and grew up in the City of Newark. She attended East Side High School, in Newark, NJ. During her junior year, she participated in the parallel program successfully graduating with her high school diploma in addition to her Associate's Degree from Essex County College. She is currently attending Seton Hall University and will be graduating College in 2023. Her dream is to be enrolling soon thereafter in Law School. Hasly loves animals and has two adorable Guinea Pigs, Bubbles and Juanita that occupy her free time!
